This policy explains how Slides, operated by Yagyaraj Lodhi (“Slides”, “we”, or “us”), handles information when you use slides.yagyaraj.com.
Information we process
- Account information. Clerk processes your email address, name, profile image, authentication method, and session information so you can create and access an account.
- Google sign-in information. If you choose Google, we receive basic identity information through Clerk, including your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google services.
- Presentation content. Prompts, transcripts, slide content, speaker notes, and image URLs you provide are sent to our server and configured AI provider to create or polish slides.
- Voice input. When you enable the microphone, audio is streamed directly from your browser to Deepgram for live transcription. Microphone access starts only after your permission and can be stopped at any time.
- Usage and technical data. PostHog may process page views, feature interactions, slide counts, prompt length, template choices, exports, voice-session starts, browser/device information, and error diagnostics. Clerk uses cookies or similar browser storage to maintain authentication sessions.
How we use information
We use this information only to:
- authenticate users and secure accounts;
- create, revise, transcribe, and export presentations;
- enforce request limits and prevent abuse;
- understand feature usage and diagnose failures; and
- operate, maintain, and improve Slides.
Google user data is used only for authentication, account display, and security. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Storage and retention
Slides does not currently operate a database that stores your deck content. Your active deck is held in browser memory and is cleared when the page refreshes or closes. PowerPoint files are generated for download to your device.
Account and analytics records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide, secure, and improve the service or meet legal obligations. AI, authentication, transcription, analytics, and hosting providers may retain data under their own terms and configured retention settings.
Service providers and sharing
We share information only with providers needed to operate Slides: Clerk for authentication, Deepgram for transcription, our configured AI provider for slide generation, PostHog for product analytics, and our hosting provider for delivering the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the service, or our rights. We do not sell personal information.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, server-side API credentials, Clerk session controls, authenticated API access, request-size limits, and rate limits. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Voice input is optional. You can use email/password instead of Google, manage or delete your account through the account menu, and control cookies through your browser. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information.
International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on applicable legal safeguards for those transfers.
